Concern for others?

You know we live in a very fast paced society. Here in America we have every conceived invention to communicate with others. I feel that in some ways technology brings us together one way but we lose face to face intimacy just sitting and talking with people.
Today, I suggest that we all make a concerted efort to reach out physically and help someone in need or visit someone that you haven't seen in a long time. God love you. Pass it on to to others.
Make today count!

  2. Hello Charles,

Your comments on Concern for others is so very true. Matter of fact I have many many friends including you, that I never never met in person and even a few friends here where I live that I have not seen for years. Some of these friends I have had for 10 years or more. I feel like I definitely know them but as you mentioned there is nothing like sitting down and having a cup of coffee, dinner, etc. with someone. My wife and I called a friend here on Hilton Head that we have not seen in a year and asked to meet us for dinner. It was so great catching up with each other. I guess when you think about it, it is better to have a friendship with someone you never met than have no friendship at all.
So glad that we are friends and members in the UWB.

  3. Hi Charles

I fully agree, our lives are so busy that the days go past like hours, and it is easy to neglect the precious people God has given us to enjoy and fellowship with. Bless you for this very relative post.
